ChelPipe group has made a contract for shipment of more than 150 thousand tons of LDP (large diameter pipes) for construction of a linear portion of TAPI (Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India) gas pipeline. According to the terms and conditions of the contract, about 200 km of TAPI gas pipeline will be laid in the territory of Turkmenistan from Chelpipe pipes. ChelPipe group has been continuously expanding its export supply geography. As part of TAPI project, the company is to dispatch the largest lot of LDP to Turkmenistan over the past few years, - comments Denis Prikhodko, Chief Commercial Officer of ChelPipe Group. Among 94 Russian and global tenderers the company has offered the best supply and service conditions. For the purpose of project implementation according to the requirements of international and Islamic banking, its funding has been provided by three financial institutions.
