Slated to be built in 2019–2021, the Udarnaya TPP is expected to address the issue of power deficiency in the Krasnodar Territory. It is another one in the list of thermal power plants already covered by ChelPipe Group, which includes the Amur, Primorskaya, Pregolskaya, and Kaliningradskaya TPPs in Russia and Long Phu 1 in Vietnam.Building upon its strong track record in shipping pipes and tubes for global energy projects, ChelPipe Group has been developing its offering of boiler tubes with a special focus on customer needs. ChelPipe Group has shipped 300 tonnes of long cold-finished boiler pipes and tubes with special properties to Krasny Kotelshchik (part of NordEnergoGroup), which plans to use them in steam boilers and pipelines for the Udarnaya Thermal Power Plant (TPP) in Taman (Krasnodar Territory).
Made by Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (part of ChelPipe Group), these products have improved properties that ensure safe and smooth operation of the power plant’s boiler equipment. As requested by Krasny Kotelshchik, the 18.5 to 21.2-meter-long pipes and tubes have a minimised magnetic field strength for better welding results.
